The following guarantees are for our local repair services. (Remote service performed on units outside of our local area are not covered here.)
If you have current anti-virus software with real time security installed when we return your computer to you, then we will remove any viruses found on your computer within 30 days of our initial virus removal. Your anti-virus software must be up to date with the latest virus definitions and real time security enabled. Because spyware is not always easy to prevent or detect, spyware is not covered under our 30 day guarantee. This doesn't mean that you cannot be assured of removal, only that we cannot guarantee its return to your system. We use the best tools available for spyware detection and removal. If you pay us for virus removal, removal of spyware is certain. To prevent spyware, do not install any special toolbars, file or music swapping programs, weather programs, unknown chat programs, or other unnecessary programs that are constantly connected to the Internet. You should also be aware that there are even downloadable spyware prevention programs that are themselves spyware. Running a firewall is also recommended, as firewalls monitor and block the ports that spyware utilizes. Firewalls can be either hardware(router) or software.
Our Problem Solved Guarantee means that if the technician does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair, then no charge is made to the customer. If the technician is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is only prevented from doing so by the customer requesting the technician not to proceed with the work, then the customer is charged for the technician's time spent to that point. If the technician is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is only prevented from doing so because the customer does not possess the required software CD-ROM or Product Key, then the customer is charged for the technician's time spent to that point. If the technician provides a clear and precise diagnosis of a failed component and the customer decides not to proceed with the replacement of the component, then the customer is charged for the technician's time spent to that point. All part purchases and/or orders for components made by the customer must be paid for by the customer and no refunds will be made for functional parts.
All parts sold by Elite Pro Services are covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Elite Pro Services' sole remedy under this warranty will be to repair or replace, at their discretion, those parts found to be defective for a standard warranty period of one year. (items shipped freight collect will not be accepted.)
We warranty all labor for a full 30 days. If the problem repaired by Elite Pro Services should appear again within that time, we will fix it for free. Please note, this warranty does not cover: Computers without an updated virus scanner running at all times. Computers without an updated operating system. Computers without an updated firewall running at all times. Situations were the client disregards the technician's safety precautions. Problems which could not have been fixed and/or caused by the original technical work performed. Elite Pro Services cannot reload any software not originally loaded by Elite Pro Services. Furthermore, this warranty is void if the case has been opened by anyone but Elite Pro Services. Elite Pro Services reserves the right to determine whether alterations have been made, or damage caused, by such facts that would serve to void the terms of this warranty. The 30 Day Limited Labor Warranty does not cover parts or software. Repairs or services not covered by this warranty are subject to billing at regular rates.
